I was expecting more

I was really looking forward to burning this candle because Kringle does beautiful complex florals, but their new gardenia was a let down. I bought the daylight size to try and was disappointed in the barely-there strength and throw. The gardenia scent was genuine, but very basic and a bit perfumey. I wasn’t able to notice any other notes and there was no depth to the floral scent. To my nose, the gardenia overpowered all the other notes. I would’ve liked to have smelled more greens and musk to balance and enhance the basic gardenia. This scent was a lighter version of BBW gardenia.

Southern charm in a jar!

Have not had a chance to burn this but it is fabulous on cold sniff. Floral yet clean.....lovely. Hoping it is stronger when burning but the fragrance is as beautiful as the jar!
